The Horizontal Spiral Discharge Settling Centrifuge (abbreviated as horizontal decanter centrifuge) utilizes the centrifugal settling principle to separate suspended liquids. It is suitable for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions with solid particle sizes greater than or equal to 3 micrometers and a density difference between liquid and solid greater than or equal to 0.05g/cm³. The centrifuge is categorized in rotor structure as concurrent flow, countercurrent flow, compound spiral, bidirectional squeezing, etc. In terms of applications, it includes models for concentration, dehydration, integrated concentration and dehydration, three-phase separation, classification, clarification, etc. Therefore, it can widely adapt to different material separation requirements. Its characteristics include continuous feeding, continuous discharging, high speed, high length-to-diameter ratio, drier solid phase, and clearer liquid phase after separation.
The horizontal decanter centrifuge is composed of multiple parts, including the main motor drive system, auxiliary motor, differential, screw conveyor, drum, protective cover, base, shock absorption system, main bearing seat, and lubrication system.
Working principle:
The Horizontal Decanter Centrifuge is a horizontal spiral discharge and continuous operation settling device. The drum and the spiral rotate in the same direction at a certain speed differential. The material is continuously introduced into the feeding screw inner cylinder through the feeding pipe, accelerated, and then enters the drum. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, the heavier solid phase material deposits on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The feeding screw continuously pushes the deposited solid phase material to the cone end of the drum, discharged outside the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, continuously overflowing from the overflow port at the large end of the drum, and is discharged outside the machine through the liquid discharge port. This machine can operate at full speed, continuously feed, separate, wash, and discharge. It has the characteristics of compact structure, continuous operation, smooth operation, strong adaptability, large production capacity, and convenient maintenance. It is suitable for separating suspensions with solid particle sizes greater than 0.005mm and concentrations ranging from 2-40%. It is widely used in industries such as chemical, light industry, pharmaceuticals, food, and environmental protection.
