The stainless steel bag filter is supported by a metal mesh basket, and the liquid flows in through the inlet, filters through the bag, and flows out from the outlet. Impurities are trapped in the filter bag, and after replacing the filter bag, it can be used again.
Points to note when using a bag filter:
1. During daily use, the pressure gauges at the inlet and outlet of the working filtration system need to be checked regularly. When the pressure reaches 0.05-0.1 MPa, it is necessary to replace the filter bag promptly; otherwise, excessive pressure difference in the bag filter can lead to bag rupture and damage to the support mesh.
2. The cover of the filtered machine should be opened correctly. It should not be opened when there is pressure inside the bag filter; otherwise, the remaining liquid may spray out, causing liquid loss. When opening, strictly follow the following steps:
1) Close the input valve, and when there is pressure at the outlet, close the output valve.
2) Confirm that the pipe connected to the exhaust valve has been connected to a safe place or the suction port before opening the exhaust valve to prevent injury and pollution to workers and the surrounding environment.
3) Check the pressure gauge and ensure that the internal pressure is 0. At this time, the bag filter should be separated from the pipeline system.
4) If there is a drain valve, confirm that the drain liquid is directed to a collection point, then open the drain valve. Close the drain valve after the remaining liquid in the bag filter has been drained. This discharge operation can be coordinated with the pressurization method.
5) Unscrew the upper cover cap, lift the upper cover, and rotate the multi-bag filter through a certain angle.
3. When replacing the filter bag, there are also some precautions. The filter bag of the stainless steel bag filter is made of fine fibers, and these materials have poor hydrophilicity because the surface of the fibers does not get wet by water. Therefore, before use, they must be moistened with a low-surface-tension liquid. Moreover, before installation, be sure to immerse the filter bag in a pre-wetting liquid that matches the filtering liquid for a few minutes.
In addition, when replacing it, carefully open the upper cover of the bag filter, place the upper cover steadily, carefully remove the filter bag, and then insert the new filter bag.
